Sometimes, the problem isn’t the problem. Sometimes the real problem is much deeper, yet, simpler.
If you are a goal oriented, recovering perfectionist like me, then a setback would be viewed critically and a review of the goals would serve as a reminder of failure. That’s not good. I think this may be one reason why so many give up on their goals.
What about a different approach?
Feeling frustrated to the point of wanting to give up doesn’t mean that you are unsuccessful. More than likely, it means that you are trying. You are chasing goals. You are out of your comfort zone. You are DOING GREAT!
What if the thing you don’t want to do, or think you can’t do is the ONLY thing standing between you and the breakthrough you long for?
What motivates me is YOU! What motivates me is the thought of being a catalyst to change the world for the better by building up and empowering people to live out their potential.
Don’t allow hindrances to be the end of your story!
Be encouraged that your identity has NOT changed just because a difficult circumstance has come upon you.
